The home search process starts with a consultation to discuss your needs, budget, and preferences. We’ll then set up a custom MLS search so you receive real-time updates on available homes. The Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is a private database where real estate agents list homes for sale. 

Finding the perfect neighborhood depends on your lifestyle, needs, and priorities. While real estate agents cannot steer buyers toward or away from certain areas due to Fair Housing Laws, we can provide you with the tools and resources you need to make an informed decision.

Yes, you will be asked to enter into a written buyer agreement with us before “touring” a home together. If you are simply asking about our services, you do not need to sign a written buyer agreement. A written buyer agreement is an agreement between you and us, as your real estate agents, outlining the services we will provide you, and what we will be paid for those services. Written buyer agreements are a nationwide requirement for all real estate agents as a part of the National Association of REALTORS®’ regulations. 

Understanding the financial side of home buying is essential, but the costs can vary based on your situation. Key factors to plan for include the down payment, closing costs, and ongoing homeownership expenses. While some buyers choose to put down a larger amount, others may qualify for mortgage programs that offer lower down payment options. Additionally, there are grants and assistance programs available that can help with upfront costs. Commissions are completely negotiable based on the National Association of Realtors (NAR) regulations, meaning the terms can vary depending on the agreement between the parties involved. It is required that real estate agents discuss and agree to commission structures upfront with every buyer client prior to signing a mandatory written buyer agreement.
